Why I Started

After years in the photography and retouching industry I know how time consuming editing can be. At one point I was working for the top boudoir company in the US, shooting and editing real estate for another company, and running my own photography & retouching business. Presets saved me time and created consistency in my work.

Soon after I was being contracted by other business owners to help them create a workflow and consistency.

I decided to offer my Presets to everyone to help others create beautiful photos, elevate their Instagram influence and create a stunningly curated grid.

About Sara Lou

I have been active in photography for 15 years and professionally retouching for 12 years. Since school I have gained my experience from my clients in wedding photography & blogger styled photo shoots, and previous employers (print magazines, photography studios, and high end product design & photography). 

I am experienced in editorial work, food photography, product photography from my work at MaryJanesFarm Magazine (An Organic Farm based living magazine). I am also experience in high-end retouching and boudoir photography from my work with CelebrateYourSexy the #1 boudoir company in the United States. I gained experience shooting and editing real estate photography from my time with InHouse3D.

I am also experienced in wedding and portrait photography from my work with my own photography clients.

I shoot film photography on my beloved Pentax 645 Medium Format. I love shooting with Kodak Portra 400. I also have a passion for Black & White and 35mm. Film has a special place in my heart with its authenticity and ability to capture raw moments.
